We are a family from the Gold Coast, Australia with a 5 year old (Eugenie) who was born profoundly deaf and given the gift of sound via bi-lateral cochlear implants at 10 months of age.
After struggling to keep her ‘ears’ on, Genie’s Nanna created our headbands to securely hold the processors in place. They have been such a tremendous help in our day to day life that ensures she receives maximum hearing time and a great start to her hearing journey.
