FAQ’s

  • How long will it take to receive my order? All of our headbands are custom made and the current making wait time is 5-7 days. The postage time is then dependant on the country that you live in. Please see estimates and shipping info here.
  • How do I take a head measurement for sizing? Measure the head, all the way around where the headbands will sit.

  • Do I have to provide a head measurement ? No. You can let us know the age of wearer and we will make a standard size.
  • How does the Cochlear processor go into the pocket? Wearing instructions and videos can be viewed here to show how to insert the processor into our custom pockets.
  • The Processor cord is only just reaching the magnet site, how can I fix this? We recommend using a 8cm (or longer) cord with headbands (Standard is 6cm) to ensure that the coils can reach without tension.
  • What are the difference between the headband styles? The information on our different styles of headbands can be found here.
  • Do Geniebands work with all brands of Cochlear implants? Yes, we have designed specialised pockets to suit the different brands of Cochlear implants (Cochlear, Med El, Advanced bionics) to ensure security, ease of use and microphone exposure.
  • Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we do ship worldwide. Please see shipping info here.
  • Can I wash my Geniebands? Yes, Geniebands can be washed. Care instructions can be found here
  • What sizes do the headbands come in? All of our headbands are custom made to suit the customers head size. You can provide us with a head measurement or choose from our standard sizes.
  • Are Geniebands just for children? No. Geniebands are also worn by adults. We custom make our products to size.
  • Do you accept returns? Due to our items being custom made, we do NOT accept returns. However, if there is a problem with your order please contact us and we will be happy to sort it out.
